The snow prevented us from having Jack's party on the weekend we scheduled it, but we finally got it in over a week later. There was still snow on the ground but it was warm and truly a beautiful day at the farm. We had around 50 people out there eating hot dogs and "campfire cake", hiking around and riding horses. The highlight of the day for most of the kids was when they came upon a cow carcass and started picking up the bones. (Again! Didn't they do that last year too???) Ewwwww!!!!! I am so not into bovine decomposition.
But apparently elementary age boys ARE.

I want to come to your "farm!" It looks like so much fun. Funny...I just told my husband that it would be fun to take the kids to a dude ranch this summer...looks like we may have to pass though- the one I found would set us back about $4,000 for three days...yikes. The ranch is in Arkansas- we will be in Branson for a dance competition and I thought we could just shoot over and make some memories...guess not :)
Looks like everyone had a great time at the party. Happy Birthday to Jack!
very VERY fun. Did YOU make the cake? Super cute and clever! I LOVE that close up of Jack. And why are kids holding hands pictures SO DARN precious?! Love them!
Was so good to see you the other night, and catch up.
Love ya!
